We're excited to introduce Pegasus Collection, one of DRIVESHARE’s new Pro Owners. Based in Dallas, Texas, Pegasus Collection is managed by Preston, Marc, and Shek, a passionate team with an impressive fleet of classic and enthusiast cars.
As Pro Owners, they’ve embraced the opportunity to share their vehicles while enjoying all the perks of DRIVESHARE’s Pro Owner Community. We sat down with Preston to hear more about the cars.
How did Pegasus Collection come to life?
We’ve all been passionate about classic cars for as long as we can remember. After years of individual ownership and restoration projects, we decided to join forces and share these cars with others through DRIVESHARE. It’s been an amazing journey, and there’s nothing better than seeing the smiles these cars bring to people’s faces.
What makes the collection unique?
Our fleet is built on a foundation of history, authenticity, and versatility. We started with three cars: a 1953 Chevrolet Pickup, a 1957 Ford Thunderbird, and a 1931 Ford Model A. Over time, we’ve expanded to include a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL, a 1966 Ford Mustang (in both white and red), a 1957 Cadillac Sedan de Ville, and even a 1983 Grand Wagoneer.
Each car has its own story. The Chevy Pickup has been a beloved part of the collection for over 16 years and has been featured in the Ft. Worth Stockyards parades for the John Wayne Foundation. Our 1931 Model A is a proud member of local and national Model A clubs. And the Thunderbird and Mercedes were added specifically for weddings and events because of their timeless appeal.
What inspired you to share your cars on DRIVESHARE?
Classic cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed—not left sitting in garages. Through DRIVESHARE, we’ve found a way to connect with people who appreciate these cars as much as we do. It’s a joy to provide authentic, nostalgic experiences, and as Pro Owners, we’ve been able to reach even more people.
What has your experience been like as Pro Owners?
It’s been incredibly rewarding. Pro Owner perks like increased visibility and marketing support have been a game-changer for us. Plus, the flexibility of the platform allows us to offer these cars for everything from photo shoots to weddings. Seeing our cars featured in events and productions—and the joy they bring—is the ultimate reward.
Do you have a favorite vehicle in the collection?
It’s hard to choose, but the 1953 Chevy Pickup holds a special place in my heart. It was an icon at my high school when I first got it, and I’ve spent years lovingly restoring it. It’s been through countless adventures, from hauling bikes and kayaks to campus drives during college. It’s a labor of love that I plan to pass down to the next generation.
What advice would you give to other car owners thinking about joining DRIVESHARE?
Don’t hesitate. These cars deserve to be shared with the world. Keep them in good shape, drive them often, and take great photos to highlight their best features. And if you’re serious about maximizing bookings, consider signing up for the Pro Owner community—it’s been a fantastic resource for us.
What’s next for Pegasus Collection?
We’re focused on keeping our fleet in top condition and continuing to share these cars with as many people as possible. We also plan to expand the collection further, always staying true to our mission of preserving and celebrating these incredible vehicles.
