Running a classic car listing on DRIVESHARE most bookings go exactly as planned. The car goes out, the renter enjoys it, everyone is happy.
But occasionally something happens: a breakdown, an early return, a verbal change of plan between owner and renter. When it does happen, the most helpful thing you can do is let us know.

Why it matters
Our team only ever gets half the picture if we hear about an issue from the renter first, and we then have to reach out to the owner to get the whole picture.
It's not that owners are doing anything wrong. In many cases they have already sorted things out directly with the renter, which is great. The problem is that without hearing from you, we are working with incomplete information — which makes it harder for us to support you fairly and efficiently.
What to let us know about
You don't need to report every small thing. But if any of the following happen during a booking, dropping us a quick message makes a real difference: a breakdown or mechanical issue, an early return or a verbal agreement with the renter to change plans. Anything that might affect the original booking terms or lead to a refund request.

It protects you too
When we hear your side of the story promptly, we can represent it accurately if a dispute or refund request comes in. The sooner we know, the better placed we are to help — and the less likely you are to be caught off guard by a claim you weren't expecting.
If times, dates, location or pricing need to change, you can also use the platform's built-in 'Suggest a Change' feature. Go to 'My Trips', select the relevant trip and choose 'Suggest a Change'. You can update the details there and the renter will receive the suggestion for approval. And remember, we are always here at support@driveshare.com if anything comes up.
